Welcome To My Process

My novels will focus on my main characters, which are basically good overcoming those that are evil. They will face numerous obstacles along the way and will ultimately find ways around them. The dialog of my characters, even the bad ones will stray away for the more vulgar words and phrases that seem to be more and more prevalent today. While I might like to sell as many books as I can, I’ll gladly forgo that if I know the books I write could be read and approved by my father. I believe that the language used today in books, movies and at bus stops only tells their listener that they lack the ability to express themselves effectively. I can count on the first four fingers of my right hand the number of times he used that kind of language. Sure, the shock value might be there. But what can they do to show they are really mad, or extremely frustrated? I’m afraid the only recourse at a time like that is reach out physically. And that’s not good. So, you’ll not find that kind of language in my writings (unless an editor gets one past me).
